One last sneak peek!

Okay, just one more sample of what I've been working on ... then you'll just have to wait for my website to launch! :)

The colour is a bit off in this pic ... and you can't really tell that there is a satin ribbon on the piece (the horizontal stripe at the top of the caramel-coloured paper). The ribbon - and the background paper - is actually chocolate brown, but it looks more like black here. Oh! And the top floral/patterned bit is letterpressed/embossed too.

New jacket too

The shopping spree continued on Sunday! Here's my new Fall jacket - a cool one by Volcom:

It actually looks much cooler when buttoned all the way up, with the collar folded down (the buttons go right to the top of the collar)

Mah new shoes!

Those of you who know me know that my preferred shoe is the good ol' Converse Chuck Taylor: But ... I've been eyeing another shoe for awhile today ... something that I wouldn't normally wear. But something has been happening to me as I get older - I have the urge to dress nicer ... so I took the plunge and I bought these!

And I absolutely LOVE them! I got home just awhile ago and I've already been wearing them! Seriously, I have. :P
